When You Cannot Defend Yourself
“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5 KJV
You may sometimes feel that defending yourself would only make matters worse. That does not mean you are helpless.
God does not require you to win every argument or convince everyone of your innocence. There is no one innocent.
Pray:
“Father, You know the truth about me. When I cannot explain myself or when people misunderstand me, help me remain peaceful. If something needs to be exposed, let You expose it. If something needs to be corrected, show me how. I place my reputation in Your hands. Amen.”
Christlike attitude:
I don’t have to defend myself against everything.
